One to one sessions that last 50 mins where you can discuss whatever thoughts, feelings or issues you wish to. These are your sessions and are supported by the counsellor. Exploration may include consideration of the past as well as future aspirations.
You may wish to discuss regrets, difficult life events or life decisions, or you may prefer more practical approaches and coping strategies for specific issues. Individual counselling provides the safe environment to work through matters and movement forward for personal development.
There are no set number of sessions. Six to eight are recommended, however, this is what ever is suitable for you including long term therapy.
